How listing works

  • Fill in a short form Your company, how many cars you have and where you work.
  • We call you One person from Kharo helps you from start to finish.
  • We check your company We confirm your company details before any car goes live.
  • We build your listings We add your photos, prices and documents. You type nothing.
  • Your cars go live They show on Kharo when bookings open.
  • Checked drivers apply See their checks, insurance and ratings, then say yes or no.
  • We look after the car We watch key dates, book repairs, handle accidents and pay you monthly.

Rent you can count on.

  • The driver is checked first We check licence, identity and affordability, and you see their ratings.
  • Kharo holds the deposit The driver pays it to Kharo. New damage or unpaid rent comes out of it.
  • Rent comes through Kharo The driver pays Kharo. Kharo pays you once a month.

Missed rent? We act the same day.

  • Day 1 The payment fails. We tell you both and remind the driver every day.
  • Day 2 Kharo calls the driver, and again every day until they pay.
  • Day 7 We ask Uber and Bolt to pause the driver's account.
  • Day 14 We collect the car. What is owed comes out of the deposit, and we chase the rest.

Questions operators ask

Who deals with parking fines on my cars?

You make the representation to the council to transfer each PCN to the driver on the hire agreement. No admin fee can be added. The fine never comes out of your rent.

Can I see what other operators thought of a driver?

Yes. Operators rate drivers on payments, care of the car and communication. New drivers have no ratings yet but pass the same checks.

Who insures the driver?

The driver picks their own hire and reward insurance, shown with the application. If you have fleet insurance, the car's page can say so.

What do you check before I see an application?

The driver's DVLA licence, their identity, and that they can afford the rent.

How do I get the rent?

The driver pays Kharo. Kharo pays you once a month. Your console shows every payment.

What if a driver stops paying?

We tell you the same day. If a payment fails, we remind and call the driver every day. On day 7 we ask Uber and Bolt to pause their account. On day 14 we collect the car. What is owed comes out of the deposit.

Can I list now?

Yes. We are signing up operators now, and your cars go live when bookings open.
